Step 1 : reaching out
The first step is simply to contact me. You can call me on 07896 522 398 and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
If you get my voicemail, don't worry, I'm probably on a call and I'll get back to you as soon as possible (you can leave me a message).
Step 2 : phone call
By e-mail, text message or telephone, we can arrange a time to call each other. I'll ask you a few questions to get to know you (and your issues) better, to make sure I can help you and your child.
By the end of this call, you should have a pretty good idea of whether you want to book your child onto an iheart course on a 1-2-1 basis, or as part of a small group, or not, if so we can get them booked in. We will also discuss whether we need to slow down the course to accommodate any specific learning difficulties your child may be dealing with, if so there may be an need to increase the fee to cover extra time. We will agree this on the call.
Step 3 : booking on to the iheart course
A second call may be appropriate with older children and teenagers in order to gauge their interest in the course and if they are up for engaging with it.
We will discuss this on the initial call. It is essential to at least have the older child, or teenagers curiosity at least at the beginning of the course for them to get the most they can out of this. And to do this they will need to meet me and see what iheart involves.
Step 4 : booking onto the iheart course
We will agree on dates and how we will take the course forward on the initial calls i.e. 1-2-1 or in a small group, online or in person, (depending on your location).
I will then forward you a short form 2 x A4 pages to fill out and sign and invoice you for the full course. As soon as the payment is received and the signed form returned, and within 5 days of the first course session starting I will forward out your free link for the ‘Creating a Resilient Family’ course for parents and carers.
Step 5: working together
I'm going to guide you and your child as best I can, but I'm not a magician either.
I won't necessarily have all the answers, and the more questions your child asks the more they will get from the course. Whatever happens, you can always trust me to help you as best I can, so that together, you and your child can get this new understanding in place and together improve your child’s experience of life.
